B Targets

B Targets have a retroreflective reflector on a KAPTON® backing with a .002" SILICONE pressure sensitive adhesive (psa). The B-250 targets, pictured above, withstand a thermal cycle of ± 300°F.

BA Targets have the same KAPTON® construction as the B targets. The A denotes a .002" ACRYLIC psa. The advantage of the acrylic psa is that it will pass the NASA out gassing test.

Choose your own spacing per roll.

Both B and BA targets can be pre-spaced in rolls of 1000 with spacing of your choice. The targets are applied in strips. The carrier liner is burnished to adhere the targets to the subtrate, then the carrier liner can be removed (at a low angle of peel) leaving the targets pre-spaced on the structure.

Retroreflector sizes are available from 3/16" through 1". Metric retroreflector sizes are available from 3 mm through 25 mm. Custom retroreflector size variations are available within the B and BA series. To designate the retroreflective material that allows the target to function at 500°F add an "H" (i.e. B becomes BH and BA becomes BAH).
